when i saw this thread i listened to DatsiK and didnt know what dubstep was then i saw the genre thing on itunes and remembered this thread but yeah its sooooo legit and so much fun to listen to when your high/riding

Can I just say this now, IT'S NOT A TYPE OF DNB. It came out of house and reggae dub. Yeh it has some dnb influences but it's not a type of dnb. Chase and Status are commercial and shit.
Go listen to Cookie Monsta and 16bit thats some real dubstep.

Zed's dead, Mt Eden, Bloody Beetroots, Benny Benassi, Chase and Status, Justice has a few deece ones, Afrika, Bassnectar isn't really dubstep but has some songs that are just crazy good, Bar9, Cluekid, etc.

i dont like Mt. Eden.. not my style. Chase & Status is all over the place in terms of genres, they have alot of D&B shit. never heard any dubstep by justice, but if you could link me to some that would be siiick. bassnectar is gnarly.
