he must hammer the oversized starnut in, and it's supposed to be bigger because the flangs will bend and then it will slide in by hammering, while being tight.

ok yeah thats some total bs.
1. it should not be that hard to get in. after and hour of hammering i get the ****er in there.
2. then i startt to screw it in. then the hole star nut starts spinning in there. how did that happen if it was so hard to get in in the first place. so now im fucked and cant get the bars off, bc the damn star nut is spinning and i cant lossin the bolt bc the star nut is spinning

thats some total bs!
it should not even be this hard to do in the 1st place. im pissed. total waiste of time and now i cant even ride.

Did you even hit it in straight? It should be that hard to get in because then you know that it wont rip out while your riding, dont bitch obviously you did something wrong.

You probably damaged it hammering it for so long. 2 good hits should get the flanges bent and put it in the tube...

Well you said you cant get the bars off now, so i guessing you have the fork on and all. Get someone to hold the scooter or put it in vice grips and hammer on the fork (put some cardboard ontop) so the starnut gets pulled back out.

the SR fork and compression system way of things makes it seem a lot easier than it really is. i messed up 2 starnuts before i got someone else to do it for me... and even then it wasnt perfect.

andrewww at XW you can set aside some tables and do a "how-to" for compression system installation hahaha
