Dyeing Wheels Fail

Explain? You just put em on hot water and dye will pure in.. It doesnt make it weaker or anything?

from personal experience it not only loosens the bond from the urethane to the core but also wears down the urethane faster than an undied wheel. Plus wheels tend to get flat much quicker when they are died then when they are not. I'm no scientist or anything but anyone that i know who has died their wheels has these problems.
tldr: don't die your wheels because they wont last as long as the same wheel undied

what if you didnt heat up the water? would it work? cause i dont think it would be the dye making it weaker and loosening the glue right? is it the heat? like could i do it with room temperature water?

They do wear down really fast when there dyed....

dying you wheels makes no difference to how the wheels wears/feels/performs and nor does it make them more likely to dehub. seriously.

Thats a load of crap, your changing the rubber compound by adding the new color...its basic science. Not to mention the heat expansion that rubber goes through while being in 180°+ water.

and the contraction when it cools down brings it back to its origianl form...

ive dyed. Sliders (2), old eagles (6), holowtecs (4), grippers (2), blazer wheels (1) and even plasic core razor wheels (2).

and they have all been absoluly fine. no chunks or dehubs to be seen

I doubt youve ever even dehubbed a wheel.

Use way less water 1" above wheel and no need to heat the water, leave overnight and flip with screwdriver occassionally. powder or liquid doesnt matter
