Dyeing wheels question

Is it better to dye wheels when there brand new or once there worn in?

i would only dye inexpensive wheels, but i think dying the wheels once they are worn in would be slightly more effective.

I don't think it matters, it might fuck up the color if you dye wheels after you've ridden them, and they've turned yellow. I always used to dye them new.

dye them new. then wear them in.
done it to my sliders they are still going strong 11 months later.
