Grips are like 8 dollars, is it really THAT hard to either buy the right color grips or get a new pair?

i did this with the same stuff that u use to dye wheels with, when i did this the grips stayed black for a while and then all the dye came off on to my hands so then i had black hands for the day...not funn, so it works for a little that it all come off and turns back to the stock color

has anyone done it? does it work?

It works, I read a how-to on BMX-Forum a couple of months back, but I cant find the link (Im still looking). From what I read, if you do it properly, you dont get all the rubbery stuff.
