For my wheels I used liquid dye, 50ml of dye to 2L warm tap water in a big icecream tub. To make the masks I used normal PVC glue, let that dry. I sat the wheels in the tub on some jar lids to let the whole wheel be exposed to the dye.

If you have new wheels they should colour better, the old wheels I used turned out all unshiny and faded.

EDIT: Luke, your wheel is gonna be a retarded colour once it comes out, just a heads up. :D

That wheel looks pretty sick Jason, shame the core got dyed too. What sort of dye is it and where did you buy it from? I was thinking bout buying some to try out.

Just some dye in a white bottle from Woolies. There were also powdered dyes but we went with liquid.

You might actually be weakening your wheels when you do this although I'm not too sure so don't take my word too seriously , just take it into consideration haha. When you dye your wheels , the urethane is absorbing the dye ( liquid ) and isn't that adding moisture into your wheel? Wheel with moisture in it will be softer / weaker.

who cares it might weaken it a little but is still rade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
