Eagle or Proto ?

Protos have lasted me ages. Not one problem. They ride so god damn smooth its like bike tires. Eagles I hate. Rougher urethane and less grip. I've taken awful spills in bowls because my eagles lost grip. Hasn;t happened with a proto.

Eagles=overrated

They just look cool so everyone loves them, they wear down really fast too. These are all MY experiences with them. I've had nothing but good with Proto. But other people have good experiences with eagles.

That is the EXACT story of my life haha. I agree 100%

proto's are ugly, eagle's are gorgeous.

eagle's wear out mad quick, proto's take a good bit of time.

i would personally go with eagle's... there's been alot of complaints/defects with proto wheels since they were first put on the market.

i like eagles a lot. people say they dehub, but i haven't had a problem. i have a sewer cap so i doubt it will dehub. i heard the new protos are good, but if the bearing slots are to big, that sucks because i like to have a dialed scoot, not one that rattles and shit.

i would get proto grippers they last a long time and it takes them forever to wear down my friend had them since they came out the very first batch and now im riding them they have been ridden for about 10 months now and they are just on there way out, so i would choose protos

I don't know how to use apostrophes correctly!

At least you're honest!

I've had my protos since August. They've been through hell and still holding up fine.

I rode an Eagle as a spare in the back and I slid out more than I did on my proto.

I'd say get Protos.

PROTOS
-Urathane stays in shape for a good while
-Lesser chance of dehubbing/ovalizing
-heavier than eagle
-teensy bit slower

Eagles
-Faster than protos
-Lighter than protos (but doenst really make a big diff)
-dehub easier
-run flat soo fast

my opinion would to get protos. even if this thread has already been answered

i dont know if i've been living under a rock for the last while or not but i havent heard anything on eagles dehubbing and all i read about on these forums is how peoples protos are dehubbbing so im kind of confused on why everyone says eagle dehub , and also eagles are SOOOOOO much faster

Uh... No. Proto has a higher chance of dehubbing.

Very very seldom do you hear of an eagle dehubbing. If anything they chunk.
