Eagle Wheels Question

Hi guys.

I just bought a Eagle Hep Greg 110mm wheel 3 days ago. (My first Eagle wheel).

I was wondering, i noticed today, after 3 days, of riding, there are cracks in the urethane of the eagle. I was wondering whether this is normal or is there is something wrong or what?

Please let me know ASAP as this is annoying the hell outta me!

Why? I see a trillion people riding street ect ect with eagles...

I ride a lot of street, but i also ride a bit of park :)...

Anyone else... I think its normal, but yeaa... Is it normal???

Have you looked at their wheels too? Cracks aswell? Gee I may just be onto something here.

yes its normal i ride street almost all the time and my eagles have cracks in them and it doesn't affect them at all just ride um

yeah, if you ride street then you are gonna get little cracks and even a few tiny chuns out of the urethane. no big deal, though.

If you ride street, with any kind of wheels, it will get the little cracks in the urethane. If you ride on a smoother surface, park, or anything, it will do the same thing, but with a slower time of them getting to the size of riding street.

He is talking about the little splits in the urethane. You get them riding street, surfaces that aint smooth, rough surfaces and its wearing away at the wheel faster than it should. If it gets to a point that the wheels have large, deep splits (cracks) then it will and could bring the life of the wheel down. It will get to a point it could chunk and just be no good. Safer to ride smoother surfaces, skateparks, some wood parks, and indoor parks with smooth grounds, tranny and what not. Will bring the splitting, chunking in urethane wheel process slower than street riding.
