it's stupid that am's or pro's can't enter though, if they could enter it should just push you guys to be better than them and work on your cleanliness, skill, style, editing, and filming skills so that you can compete with everyone, to show you put work into the video. everyone should be able to enter dude.

i dont think so. a pro or am would win everytime
and pros/ams already get enough exposure by sites like inside and impact.

this is a possibility a bunch of us have thought about for a while. we have alot on our hands with the site right now. but once we're finished with it, maybe we can get something like this going.

I have the feeling if this thing were to happen, it would start arguments between street and park.

I like the idea a lot, but a clear definition of who can and cannot enter would have to be made. I am technically 'Am,' but would not consider myself anywhere near as good as a lot of currently unrepresented riders, and I certainly do not get exposure. Some of the greatest riders at the moment do not ride for a legitimate brand. I think the videos should be judged with a scale based on the rider's status and what not, yet all riders should be given the chance to enter. This would give the lesser known riders a chance. Also, in my opinion there should be a panel of judges that decide on the top 5-10 of the edits, so the voters don't have to watch like all 30 or so entries. But yeah I like the idea a lot.

Not base entirely off skill though, because the same person could easily win a few months in a row. Based on riding, style, editing etc.

That sounds good, but in reality I highly doubt it would get any more than 5 entries.

The population of SR releases easily one edit per day, 30 days in the month, 30 edits. I was assuming that the edits did not have to be made specifically for this competition, but anyone could enter an edit as long as it was released that same month.

I'd been so stoked if this happened i'd like to just watch all of them these days i struggle to find edits im really stoked on so I end up watching the same one over and over. I would be nice to see a resource of good edits since competition always brings out the best in people.
