Emotions

I am either very happy, very annoyed, or very pissed off.

there isnt really a middle ground, so god help you if you do the latter.

The narcissistic youth of the world today is a real tragedy.

Once you really realize how easy we all have it compared to the truly unfortunate souls on this planet and stop thinking about yourselves you will be a lot happier with the life you have. But getting to that point takes a lot of time and growing up. So what if something is sold out? Are you going to die without it? So what if you have to hang out with your grandparents in the snow? At least they are still around for you to spend time with. So what if your grapes are withered. Fuck grapes.

In all seriousness: You could be living in Africa with AIDS, no clothes and no food with a life expectancy of 10 which means most of you, if not all of you are already dead. Once you start being thankful for what you have and the opportunities we have been blessed with your life will go a whole lot smoother and you won't get bent about all the small things that really DON'T MATTER.

I don't know what that means but I understand the rest of it, and yea. We should really be more thankful for the stuff we have and not just look at the things we don't have.

Oh yea, my science teacher is bi polar, it's pretty annoying because you can't tell when she's having a good day or a bad day.

I used to like wake up happy, in a few hours I'd be sad for no reason, then in a little I'd be angry for no reason.
It sucked. I'm on Risperodol now, it's a mood stabilizer, and Prozac, it's an anti-depressant.

Errrhhmmmm
Well last Thursday my dog died and she was the best dog ever. I loved her soooo much. I've never cried so hard in my life when she was gone. I was right there with her when they put her to sleep then we buried her in my backyard. It's so weird comin home from places not having her waiten at the door and stuff.

Then early Sunday morning my grandma died. I went to see her mid day Saturday and she could hardly talk or open her eyes. Right before i left i hugged her kissed her and told here i loved her and in the faintised voice back i heard her say "I love you" upon that i just broke out crying. That night my dad woke me up at 3 something in the morning telling me she died.

Definitely one of the hardest emotional times of my life. And i had to go back to school and do long ass exams so that didnt really help. I'm fine now but i get a little bummed when i think about them both cause i was really close to both of them.

hahahahahaha, that made me lol really hard for some reason

But yeah, I agree with that completely. Getting all butthurt about small meaningless shit is a waste of time tbh, just go out, look around you, and first off appreciate the fact that you're even alive on this planet and that you get to do all the shit you do every day. Because if you sit around in self-pity all day, it's just gonna put you in a perpetually bad mood, which is then going to be transferred onto other people you interact with - imo this is probably the MOST selfish thing anyone can ever do. If you're feeling a bit down, go out, and DO stuff that helps other people out in a positive way, even by doing small things like saying Hi to your neighbours or kids you see at school, or even the bus drivers taking you to school that you don't normally talk to, because knowing that you've improved someone's day, even by a little bit, is the quickest way to make you happy.

Thank you.

And Tyler, this has everything to do with contentment. If you were content this thread would not exist. Yes, everyone has emotions but the difference is the people who get over it and move on or the people who sit and dwell on things and beat themselves up over totally inconsequential BS. People get depressed because they sit around feeling sorry for themselves instead of doing something about it which is something I have no sympathy for. It is called narcissism and it is a disease that is at the root of basically all westernized culture. We are raised to only think about ourselves and if things don't go our way or why don't get what material possessions we want we pout and get depressed like it's the end of the world even though it is far far from it. Sorry you are feeling emo but once you realize how good you have it then you will realize that none of this matters.

ok...
