nick what upload/render/export settings do you use?

i edit in premiere, and i make sure i deinterlace each clip. on my system i press enter and it renders it for me.

hmm idk then. maybe you need to white balence your cam? make sure to use brand new tapes also, otherwise it kills quality and colors. dont rewind it. and adjust the colors when you edit also. thats what i do

It has nothing to do with your export settings, cause your videos are generally crisp, but you usually set the shutter TOO high (even if there's a lot of sun, just raise iris, and leave the shutter at 1000ish). This causes "over sharpening" and artifacts around all the edges in the image.
