When you are putting your income which is essentially your ticket to living life in a company and things start going sour you arent gonna want to tell everybody until the whole situation is finalized. So now hating on District is going to become a trend. Shithead or not, V2is are good decks. At least Marcel is providing us with good, cheap parts. No rider-owned or American company has supplied this sport with any parts in the same price range except for wheels.

This is not the case, not with all of us at least. Don't let a select few idiots cloud your view of Australia as a whole, some of us are level-headed and intelligent people.
If it weren't for Kevin, the decks wouldn't be anywhere near as 'good' as you consider them, yet he received nothing but bullshit in return. The reason Marcel can provide his products for such 'cheap' prices is because he does not pay any of his riders or designers the income they have been promised, therefore saving money. If he actually paid the members of his company what they deserve, then the prices of the products would rise. The money you are saving by buying a cheap deck is the money that should be going to the riders and designers of District.

well heres my two cents on the whole matter. I havent lost respect with ALL of FSP.. only the ownership and management of it. I still support Addict because although its in FSP, its closer to being a tight nit, family like company than eagle or district. Now on the topic of the district decks, yes, v2i's are great, and feel sick as ----- and i probably will continue to ride them until Ethic comes out, and i really dont give a single fuck about anyone that hates that.. because like people are saying the parts are great.. i dont buy them to support marcel, i buy them to support myself in the sport, because its a deck i find suits my style.
As for Ethic, I've known about this for a while... im not gonna go bringing people into this, but riders in FSP have explained it to me completely, and i support Ethic COMPLETELY. Hell, i know a rider in FSP that WANTS to be on Ethic.
Basically what my point is, Marcel got caught right handed trying to fuck people over, and hes acting all gay about it, district decks are great and people (including myself) will continue to ride them, just because of how good, and cheap they are and last but not least, i fully support Ethic.. and i support Addict completely too. Only because of the team, and how down to earth the riders really are.
As for the kid trying to rip up Mckeen.. I met Mckeen.. hes a chill guy, and fun to watch.. not the least bit full of himself.. in my opinion..

Marcel didn't exactly lower costs by not posting his riders, he caused problems by trying to expand district into a money making machine. This caused addict products to be delayed so the riders couldn't get their royalties until their product is sold.
He fucked over Kevin so he could take full control over district, but right before doing so he took a design from Kevin that was half assed and made for micro. With his v4 he can get people to buy it because of past district quality, (it looks like complete bs IMO) but he will make ALOT on loyal district customers and will continue to make money on the older parts so he now has a huge income. Oh and the fact that he's selling v4's only add completes shows he is buying every part in equal bulk and shipping all at once, saving cost. So he IS cutting costs, but not buy cutting salaries and not paying riders. He's trying to raise his income by taking advantage of expanding the product line up and using the leverage of past quality to attract loyal and new customers so he may expand his income, until people stop buying from district and Marcel's district/addict/eagle empire collapses and Marcel pulls out or sells the brands to the highest bidder (he is one sneaky business man)
I predict that if Marcel's empire collapses and he sells the scooter company that he owns, he will fuck the sport over for a really long time unless someone who rides/has ridden buys it
edit: I kind of missed the point of your post and got carried away, but he sells his products so cheaply because manufacturing in China is extremely cheap. So cheap that most workers live on well under 5 dollars PER DAY, and mix that with producing/shipping in bulk makes for a very cheap process so he can keep the price low
