Search man.
Explosions have had at least 1 or 2 threads.
They are extremely chill though.

i totally disagree with that "relaxing/chill" description that is giving to post rock bands in general, especially explosions in the sky. their songs are usually a mix of the quiet, build up parts that go into the huge, crashing sound. not something i would at all consider chill, but that's just my opinion.

there amazing. and i agree with sean, most their songs have crescendo followed by a decresendo. and it makes or kick a$$ music.

/fuck you all for turning one of the few threads on this forum about a band that's actually good into something totally unrelated

I love the band and consider it very chill. Well, less chill and more relaxing. Anything without lyrics is supposed to be good to help you think or whatever.

Look up the song "radetsky march" seriously, teacher used to play that song during like work time in class and junk. Even though I don't like it she said in college they had a class about how music with lyrics distracts you from what you are doing because you get thinking about the lyrics. The same probably holds true for musicians though who are listening to how the music is played.

Now that the unrelated but more related stuff than above is out of the way...

I really like this band and I'll listen to them a lot if I have homework to do or if I'm chillin out getting ready for bed. This is not a band in my riding playlist.

/thread ohhhh, but not really.

agreed. a lot of their music actually pumps me up, some of it i can consider chill, but either way, i consider it all amazing.
