In Tartu, Estonia.
110-120 miles from Tallinn.
Was a comp for trialbikes, BMX dirt, BMX/in-line/skateboard/scooter cross, scooter and skateboard best trick comps. We had scooter cross and scooter best trick comp.
That whole thing was generally a blast, except for few things:
About that best trick comp then it was organized wrongly. It was like collecting points (plusses +) of our advanced tricks what we have done. No runs.
I was repeating my tricks and trying to get them more clean and because of that wasting my time for cleaning my tricks what i already got a plus for it, but Erti did a lot of tricks (such as 180 briflips on quarter, briflip over a small flybox, sketchy 540s) and won the comp. I don't mind that if it was him who won, but the whole best trick comp was wrongly organized. Best trick comp is a true BEST TRICK (only one trick, not a COLLECTION of gnarly tricks).
So if i would be the judge, i would have given the award to Andreas, who did a lip-disaster (?) on a huge 12 foot quarter which had no coping and had no platvorm to stand on (on the other side of the quarter was a straight wall to ground). In my opinion, his trick was the TRUE BEST TRICK of the comp, because it was so massive and smooth afterwards. He tried it like 500 times and crashed down every way but nailed it afterwards.
Next time we have a comp, we'll organize it ourselves because "best trick comp" has to be a comp for one best trick, not a collection of gnarly tricks.
I was so close to try a flip but i found it a bit dangerous since the little flybox didn't really have a radius and it wasn't worth to brake a neck.
I'm a bit upset that Erti's mom didn't get my superfinger on video but like i heard and saw then there were professional photoshooters.
And yeah, for the second year, scooter riders will be on local newspaper again (altough last year was about me only because the comp had like scooter riders only and no best trick comp, only a scooter cross), although we all don't live there, because we all live like 120 miles away. But then again we'll get 2 newspapers through my granddad and Andreas's friend.
Scooter cross was pretty amazing too, it had some fat slaloms, long rides, one "egg" big ass 12 foot quarter for 180 turn to right (i always did alley oops instead of turning right because i found alley oops easier so i could do a little air with them), some funboxes etc. Boxes will just for only the comp and were taken apart right after the whole thing was over and everyone was awarded.
Results:
Best trick comp: Erti
Scooter Cross:
1) Madis
2) Andreas
3) Juku
Erti got a Trikke and i got a Motorola Pebl U6 mobile phone that i'll probably sell (because i find my old mobile more comfortable... well call me an old-fashion guy but i like my phone) and put the money on my custom deck prototypes and maybe for a one pneumatic Trikke for cruising around (me and Egon from the non-profit organisation "Lahe Idee" ("Cool Idea") got some contacts and we can get them probably for like 3 times lower price than usual because the guy who imports them is a pretty great guy.
Injuries:
Juku falled on his hip, hand and bust his knee lightly.
Erti busted one of his knee but seems to be fine.
Andreas busted his heel because Egon ran in to him at the finish.
Egon broke his little finger near its bursa, was totally messed up. It happened after ranning into Andreas and Egon falled on the last flybox'es (finish damn it) kicker and that's why Juku took the 3rd place.
Egon got his first aid but will have a operation on monday because the finger is pretty much wasted near its bursa.
Me and Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â? ââ?¬â?¢Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Â¦Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?â??llar got nothing although i think i'm gonna take a little brake at riding, since Egon's finger depressed me and it's raining over a long time and i have to mod my scoot because i finally got some new pars from Cory.
I hope to get some pictures and videoclips soon.
Congrats to Erti for a pretty amazing collection of tricks at the comp.
