K, before you say how shit New A's are;
1. fuckk you, suck my nuts
2. I ride a 11 pound scooter, so dont go on about this weight shit.

k so, with the new A's is there really any point in puting a pro foldy on? I don't really care aobut riding with one bolt, and I'm only using the scooter for flat/small kicker tricks, so its not like im ridin street with it or anything.

So down to the point, why are you puting pro foldys on your new a's? do the new A folding mechs rip off or omethig? seems to me like drilling new holes and puting bolts and a folding meeh that is completely diffrent will weaken it?

The new A folding mech bolts to the middle of the deck. Since your constantly ripping up on it when you jump, the metal rips apart on the deck. If you put a pro folding mech on, you bolt it more toward the outside of the deck, and right next to where the 'box' part of the deck drops down, so theres more strength. If you put a pro folding mech on, usually, it last alot longer than the stock one.

but thats like putting more leverage to rip it off. because its so solid its just going to rip off quicker.

yup

i used to ride new a b foldy, but the last one i got, those box walls were too close together to put on a b foldy. but, wouldn't that just make it stronger then? hopefully it does, because when i snap my pro dropouts i'll probably ride it, and put some reinforcements on.

Your moving the... pressure point i guess away from the middle of the deck to the outside wheres there is more support. The holes where the old mech was won't really matter. It last longer as long as your not doing any crazy drops.

And to talk about drops, i just destroyed my new a b folding mech today, but I jumped off like a 6 foot drop and did it 3 times before the deck cracked. I don't think a pro would have lasted through it either.
