The clamps weird too. Its two blocks that push in. the clamp isn't the part thats got the strip-able threads in it.

I don't think it looks mediocre at all, it's just a really simple color scheme. As much as I don't like Blunt, Envy, Fasen, etc, the Fasen line has a lot of little details that set them apart. And the clamp is ingenious, it's an idea that has floated around for years but no company has actually put it into usable production until now.
