"Starting the testing phase on the new +ION prototype. It will have a new deck extrusion shape as well but we are testing the headtube/downtube forging right now. Decks will come in 5.0 and 4.5 widths. Engineers say 45% stronger than our current Reventon at 3 lbs." - Phoenix

looks pretty interesting, headtube looks like the Cam Ward/Brandon James district headtube

they've changed the welding design and how the decks put together, so i dont know if it'll be as strong as a reventon tbh

didn't they switch to a production warehouse in china? off topic but i swear like 3 people told me that and i got bitched at on instagram cause some kid asked if that deck is american/china made.

i would rather ride a reventon v2 than that thing anyway, it looks like they reinforced right where they didn't need to. no one snaps it at the front of the headtube.

i think they still have their factory in america, but not too sure tbh

ive only ever seen them snap at the headtube (looking at the snaps on youtube and some posted on here) so i think it helps, but theyve changed the way they weld the headtube to the deck, and it doesnt look as strong as the current reventon's, but who knows what'll happen lol

i just think the deck welds wont be as strong
