If you ride mostly flat of course you're not going to break parts as quick, but telling someone that they wont have any problems with a deck just because you wouldnt (even though your styles are probably completely different) is stupid.
I say harder as I mean they ride harder, not better. Everyone's opinion on "good" varies depending on what style of riding you prefer. When I say "harder" I mean other riders do bigger drops/gaps etc. than you.
Yes, I dont know you personally and will probably never meet you, but you dont know me either so why do you assume I ride to "get sponno or do a worldie"? Im not 12, im 20 and have been riding for over 5 years.
Dude, I ride solely for the fuck of it haha I work and I have other commitments that take priority over scooters so I ride maybe once a fortnight or so, and when I do ride its cruising or fucking around on a ledge/rail. Sponsorship would be too much of a commitment for me as I dont really have the time to put into scooters. So no, I dont ride for any other reason besides wanted to chill with the squad and fucking around on my time off.
I still dont think this deck would hold up to most people even if they arent a park park kid doing "nunchuck" tricks. It probably would hold up for me to be honest, considering I hardly ride and have only ever broken a Razor Pro deck and a pair of Phoenix Phorx (chunked a few wheels as well if that counts) in 5 years but id never ride it because I hate flimsy, flexible decks. Give me a 4 kg + scooter that feels rigid as fuck any day.
saying that flat wont do these thing isnt true, its a stress that isnt usually copped by every scooter and its does damages that you cant do anywhere else, so i have modded scooters to match the reactions and succeeded. they are more than strong enough for park use. i still go as big as i please and keep up with anyone with half the effort on this scooter in question.
it is stupid i know, to judge something that i havent seen in person but its not hard if you know what you are looking for and have preference to that style of parts (and work in research and development for a scooter company helps).
its the same concept as the addict, not hard to understand that. if you want to know what i expect of this deck, what gives the unique feel will be the back part of the neck, its gonna give a flex that wasnt in any of the dual plate necks previously. still a little confused by plunged welding which will give its "weakspot" so everything else only has to be a little stronger than that part which you can know from the lindworm deck. chain is only as strong as its weakest link, none of you seem to factor that in when its come to these assesments
all in all, this is
not for hard riders that are careless, its for people who ride proper. smooth, following the path of least resistance is the goal of the proper rider and feedback from the scooter is how you know if its right. you can ride like this and still go "huge" "hard" and the ethic team shows it if you need footage.
if you read again, none of point 2 was directed solely at you, you come on to this website so you aint a scooter kid in my eyes, you are an equal.
i said that was what i get in everyday situations as i ride often and honestly, im treated like royalty by kids thanks to a stint on mgp and i have to make sure i dont talk mindlessly to them because i hope to attain a "permanent future" in scooters.
but as you ride the heavier, unbalanced in my opinion and simple, plain, boring parts as preference it affects you somewhat. its like taking a muscle car up against todays jap 4turbos, them sensitive innovations make the smaller jap hammer but fail if treated badly but the muscle car will do the same, slugisly and still make it home no matter if you mess up a little bit.
i ride lightaf scoots, this means i take the risk if i screw up that it may break the scooter if i were to throw it or have it launch if i bail. in the end youd think id lose but ill say its the complete opposite
