idk maybe there heat treated and it changes the color?
or its the camera flash ?
but they look like they come powder coated clear now cause my crows never looked that clean

I don't know anywhere Online but at Scooterzone they have them, Not sure if they have them on the site but they do in store.

It is from heat, the heat of the welder changes the color of the chromoly. Only bars that are TIG welded get it though cause it is the only welder that gets hot enough.

The bars in the Pic were definitely NOT Tig welded and don't really need to be.

Any welding machine can put enough heat in to the Steel to change the color- you can change the color with a Mapp Torch purchased at Home Depot- it doesn't take that much heat.

Various reasons to use Tig on the 4130 , mostly cosmetic in this scenario though i.e Bars.

The main reason is that Tig offers more control of the Heat on the Thin wall tubing used on Bars. Less likely to blow a hole through the tubing while welding.
