that is actually a better attempt at non scooter rider building scooter stuff with engineering skill and cost in mind than anything ive seen ever. i doubt many of you could pull it off like that first time round(considering you have a preference, idea atleast for what you need).

well if anything, i think the design could have been thought through a bit better than it had been tbh

like, the design itself with the Downtube and the deck with all the holes and that, just not my preference i guess.

i reckon just basic looks better, also happens to work better too in some cases. Sure, the construction of the deck may be good and all (even though its not welded), but it looks as if they put too much effort to try and make the design look different, and now kinda just looks odd.

hopefully you get my point haha

basic is all well and good but most "basic" designs are made because of cheap mass production or cheap construction in general, not automatically "good" or "strong" all is subjective in that case. we are yet to see a "well thought out deck" except for the addict deck imo, everything else serves a different purpose.

alu has funny ways of being "strong" and from my experience its better to relieve stress via holes in the metal for spots that are put under a leverage type stress. i got this preference from riding og stuff that would flex like wood but "somehow" held up. it can take out weight, stress and opens up the weight balance/geometry matrix i and some are aiming for.

as for the way its done on that particular deck, i see what the aim is but i will for the sake of visual ascetics agree. it obviously to me as it may to you, need the "riders touch
