.083 fork tube wall. if your good you can do this
get 1.125 OD with a .065 wall. make your forks. thenn after that. if you have access to a lathe. use a micrometer to get the ID of the 1.125x .065. make sure it is exact then get a nother piece of DOM just a little bit bigger. then lathe it down to the ID of the .065 fork tube. have a 1.25 piece at the bottom of the fork tube [by the race crown] and a 3" or how ever long it is to about an 1 bellow the headset. and PRESS those in. weld the top and bottom. disc sand it off. round the edges and your g2g.

or just use a .083 fork tube=]

Thanks for all the help, 1020 DOM is going to be less than half the cost! Now I just need some aluminum sheet and a headset. I'll post up when I'm done; it'll be a while because I'm working on my car a lot.

Fork Steerer Tube: 1-1/8 OD x .125 wall x .875 ID
Bars Steer Column: 1-1/4 OD x .065 wall x 1.12 ID
Bars Crossbar: 7/8 OD X .065 wall X .745 ID

If you're putting that on a threadless fork, then you won't get those bars on.
.005" is enough to cause troubles trying to get the bars onto the forks.

I do have access to a lathe, I think I posted about it up above. If I need to, I can bore out the the lower part of the bars .005. Five thousandths isn't enough to worry about in my mind

my bars were stuck cause madis used a wall thickness that was 0.005 too thick on the older versions of weebars. I had to saw my bars off and now get a SCS wich is still not available in Europe. :(
It really sucks when you have to saw your bars or something, so just get the right ID.
