no this isnt an add for hookers. i just found the easiest and best way so far to make stock bearings better than the sealed bike headsets. sorry no pics i didnt think they would be necessary.

step 1: take it apart duh

step 2: clean the bearings and races with paint thinner or some kind of solvent

step 3: wipe them as dry as you can

step 4: soak just the bearings in MOTOR OIL! for a while (i found SAE 10W-40 to be the best thing to lube the bearings since it makes them smooth like grease and fast like wd-40)

step 5: take the bearings out and let them drip off a little but still leave a good amount of oil on there and put everything back together

step 6: RIDE IT!!! it is soooo fast and yet as smooth as a sealed headset!

Thanks for telling. It will be quite useful for those who do not know but its like you can just say everything in 2 or few more words. Use paint thinner and motor oil. Lol.

well im just sharing what i found out with everyone and if you dont like then dont do it. i didnt know someone else already thought of it so dont complain. i just found it to work fast and smooth for no money and it keeps out the dirt way longer than WD-40.

lol i just use my special batch of pertol, 2 stroke oil and RP7..............and that is the best thing for my scooter headset

I just whack a little wd40 on every time I feel it slowing down or when it starts getting noisy.
