The wheel means nothing without the bearing. The bearing has the biggest effect on the speed of the wheel. Shitty bearing means shitty wheels (speed wise.) Stretching past that, how hard the wheel is and how big the wheel is will only make the wheel go faster as either/both of those things go up. Therefore, they're really aren't any "fastest" wheels, just bigger and harder wheels (as any company can increase those numbers if they wish)... it doesn't matter who makes them really, it's just a matter of how long the wheel will last. And of course, when a wheel gets to be more worn down and chiseled, it gets slower. That's really it in a nutshell. No need to look for a specific brand, just those qualities if we're solely talking about speed.
