my least favorite rider is brendon smith, he was at my local indoor park today. he barely rode, he was just sitting there thinking he was better than everyone and reluctantly signing stuff. He rode a flatbar for about half an hour not landing a single trick. he kept himself to himself and thought he was above everyone.

when i was on blunt he was pretty cool to me, i feel like just looks bummed/pissed all of the time so it might not be like directly fuck you to everybody. at least thats what i thought after spending a few days with him and the rest of the dudes. i think thats just how he is as a person haha. i seen him a few years later at a SD comp and he came up to me and said whats up and i was kinda surprised haha

I bet there are tons of guys that go to your park and do the exact same thing but just because this guy is a bit known in the sport, you assume he's an asshole. Think about how tired he is of scooter kids asking him bunch of questions and not giving him any space to ride? He probably just keeps to himself to avoid that. And even if you go pro, you're still going to want to have just a chill session with your friend, without being interrogated by kids, right?

Kota seriously has to be my least favorite rider. I don't hate him, I give him 100% respect for the shit he does because I'm not getting shit like that down anytime soon, but seriously.. the thumbs up and waving after landing tricks has to stop. Just ride the gosh darn scooter, you don't need a big party every time you land a flair.

Yo not all the riders from the category of "Brands that make bad scooters" are bad. Jon DeVrind is one of my favorite riders and he's sponsored by a company I don't really enjoy.

I just don't like it when good riders represent companies that don't give effort to make the best product

Weellll I think the same way, but ever since Upchurch moved to Grit and put out a huge article talking about sponsorships, there seems to be alot behind the scenes we're not allowed to know. Every rider wants to rep the best companies out there but something is making them stay with the team they're on. Idk man, I try not to judge a rider on who they ride for anymore.

those bad companies have more money to spend on their riders, that's why usually some good riders stay in those bad companies, to get more cash.
Meanwhile rider based companies are just starting to grow and they don't have a lot of money to give to their riders, but soon they'll, as an example tilt started from scratch and now their basicly the most respected brand in the sport, meanwhile beginners and other people are realizing that the companies, who aren't rider based and are only in the business because of money, that their products suck, and soon those companies will die
