Finally going to make the leap

Okay, so im starting to ride harder and harder and with that im starting to take out parts. I've decided im going to go with a one-piece bar, probably inward and i don't know if i should get more. A fork would be nice but then im going to have to get a headset and a compression system so that is going to be over $100 for that. Do you guys think its worth it to get a fork in addition to bars. Suggestions on setups would be nice too.

whatever you break the most, thats what you need. Example, i broke so many stock forks, so the first thing i got when i decided to go to aftermarket parts was a fork.

Inwards are GREAT for a first set of bars and while your at it buy a THREADED fork with
.120 wall thickness. It might be more expensive but by the time you buy compression and
a new headset you will be saving money. Maybe invest into some wheels??

BTW, the real question is what are you breaking?

im breaking bars, wheels, and im pretty sure the fork is bent a little.

Are there disadvantages to a threaded inward fork?

yeah, i think im just going to get bars for now. I ordered a new pro last night and if i break that fork ill just switch it out for the one i have now. $100 is a lot of money for a fork.

if you dont mind the extra weight then yea its worth it. I rode inward forks but they rubbed a lot for me so i went back to stock. so even though i never rode them i would suggest french id forks because of how light and strong they are. and for a headset prob like some fsa.

just get a thick walled threaded fork from inward soo you dont have to get the headset and compression

get rad bars with the HIC and thats a compression system included with handlebars u cant beat that, and then u could get a nice threadless fork like french id and ud would b set with a strong light setup.
