aight so for my birthday i gots a FinePix Z20 and its a very nice picture/video camera buttttttttttttt there were some things i was wondering and were bothered about

the first thing is that it records video in MPEG-4 and i dont really know how good of quality that is so can anyone tell me if it is for this type of camera

also one of the things i was bothered about was that there was no zoom in video capture mode so am i crazy or is that a little weird

its a cheap consumer point and shoot camera, only meant to take generic pictures and capture so-so quality video. if you want to delve into photography that camera will be fine to start, but dont even think of using the video for a riding video. video quality is unbearable compared to even the cheapest consumer mini dv camera.

well i used a kodak easyshare camera to film some tricks and they looked pretty good

and im not diving into photography i already do it... i gots a cannon rebel film not DSLR ..i just want a camera that i can carry around in my pocket and is good for vid/stills but still in the 200$ range cause we would have to return the one i have and get something of the same price
