You can but its not much of deal just free parts once in a while and the whole sponsor deal is lame imo, no fingerboarding compay besides blackriver-ramps, tech deck, berlinwood, winkler wheels are big to need such advertising and usually the team menbers dont even support their sponsors. Its more of a you "cool" ill sponsor you no matter how much you suck type of thing. Not everywhere this type of thing happens mainly in the US, England scene not trying to brag tough its just a fact.

Can someone please explain to me how "professional" fingerboarding or even just fingerboarding are the least bit appealing? Because I have yet to figure it out.
Well, it must have some appeal to many others. Considering there are contest series all over Europe. Companies from around the world offering anything from bushings and griptape to wooden decks to ramps.
Hell, even Hawk Clothing had a commercial shot in LA of a fingerboarder.

Haha Fingerboarding. Go to www.techdeck.com forums. Those people actually think they are cool.
Yeah, the forum is packed with noobs. Which is why there is fingerboard.de and fingerflipinc.com forums. Basically created to get away from the 12 year old kids thinking they're gods at fingerboarding. A majority of them don't even know that some of the biggest companies and fingerboarders exsist, haha.

No they can't say the same thing about scooters because scooters are actually a physical sport with risk involved. It takes no balls to fingerboard. I don't care if people play with them when they are bored but when they start filming themselves, arguing over who can do what trick and calling themselves "professionals" then that is where I draw the line. LEGOS were "hella cool" too but you don't see anyone taking it THAT seriously. IT IS A TOY. PERIOD.
Since when did something have to take "risks" to be appealing or skillful?! And last I checked scooters are still a toy as well. As much as you want to convince yourself they are more than that.

Anyways though, here are some more videos that aren't ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KX6moD9hIcw[/url]

Insane filmlike video from Alexis Milant. Truely an amazingly well done video all round. from shot choice, to lighting, to editing, and into the style of tricks themselves.

Eric Smith. One of the bests in my book. Technical tricks, infinite amount of steez and great followcam shots that seem to set a great mood when he edits his parts.

A nice video part from Andy in the UK. AKA CTE.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z4y-Kil2FQ

A fingerboard contest spot shown on GIGATV in Europe.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=CzqR3dXGtcQ

A great lineup of European fingerboarders. Winkler, Fabi, Esche, Valler, etc. Great video. Last half is a bunch of junk footage though.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=l3t78TU_guk

Another Euopean group of fingerboarders doing a small montage. Good stuff as always.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=hBxCQO-mS7g

Esche. That's all that needs to be said. This video is waaaay long, but his style and trick difficulty is amazing.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=81yt6ESkxEw

Fast FIngers 8 contest video.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=tj05ZTrolRU

Andy AKA CTE and his friend Johnny playing a drunken game of SKATE. Looks like a lot of fun.

i say that fingerboarding takes ALOT of skill. After seeing josh ride im convinced haha.

if you think its stupid just try some of these tricks yourself and see how difficult it is.

Yeah, he has a really good style, super clean. Almost always fingertip landings.
If you liked his video, check out Esche. Esche is way smooth, no pausing in any of his tricks. Makes them look way too easy and fluent. Also always fingertipped.
