i can drill holes, but im just wondering if there are any special techniques that can make it a little easier/more accurate.

Use a drill press and use the tool that alligns the holes to the center of the deck.

a drill allingment? I think not sure what it's called, erm a drill press would work the best. Or if you can't afford them, line up a td truck diameter the the board your making so you can drill holes like the td do.

Yes tape it so it will stay and stuff. That's your best bet I think

Or use a deck deck that's how most people do it
