First Scooter/First Build. Recommended Components?

i just got the helmeri deck and its actually 20.89 long
but the deck is amazing, buy it of sho.

The wide feature imo is only good, the only thing is that it is a bit heavier than an skinnier deck

Did you measure it?

I measured it in cm and its exactly 53cm which equals to 20.866

or you could get a pro model, bolt the foldding mech, and buy some one piece bars since its your first scooter

Those days are gone. Its easier and just as cheap to buy a complete with a one piece deck ect.

Well it is finally coming together. I am waiting on a Tilt SCS clamp now. I also won an ebay auction for this sweet scooter stand. It's a 1 piece block of aluminum and I paid around $8 for it shipped

Relax, they are red. I wanted gum color but I couldn't find those in flangeless and I didn't want black grips because I wanted the gripping surface to stand out a little bit from the rest of the bar.

Just make sure you get the clamp that hold both regular and over sized bars. He is talking about how tight the bars are gonna be in the scs.

Valid point, I just wanted to buy them ready to go with a clean look. I had fear of cutting them.
