Fisheyes - read

on my camera lense all it says is: Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 1,8/2,3-46. what size is my lense? ive looked online and cant find anything and im looking to buy a fisheye.

What camera is it? Or look at them numbers and tell me which one has a Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â? Ã¢â?¬â?¢Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Â¹Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? before the number, it might be 46 but double check.

it is a sony handycam dcr-hc26. and im pretty sure there is no number on or around the lense with a Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?â? Ã¢â?¬â?¢Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Â¹Ã?â?¦Ã¢â?¬Å? before it.

Im not sure if the camera even has thread mounts on there... its there threads anywhere on the black part around the lens?

yea, it has threads on the inside, i measured like the diameter of were the threads are and its 2.5 cm or 25 mm.

It might be 25mm than, so you would need a 25-37mm stepup ring for most lenses. I can't find anything online for the size of the camera so you might want to see if they have step rings in a camera store near you or something and see if it fits.

Oh damn i didn't know you were talking about a picture camera. You could try a Phoenix fisheye. I forget the thread mount on the auctual lens, but i know its in the 50's. You might need a step ring for it, but i know it comes with like 4. The sharpness isn't too great with it, but i can't think of anything else to use.

phoenix fisheyes, you may ass well break some glass and make your own fisheye haha

Snap ons are pretty ghetto. Hot glue a step ring or a spacer on the front of your camera haha... or just film long lens.
