so my scooter was broken, i was riding dalton's around. and when i flip out of my bowl, i turn my head to the right, to get the 90 degree spin.but its oppisite.but anyway, i was like, hey im gonna try a flair, i wasn't scared or anything, i don' kno why. i went up the ramp, flipped, threw my head.. but the wrong way, and i landed on my back.

i really need tips on flairs,

what i think im supposed to do is pop off the coping, flip straight back, in the middle of the rotation, turn my head... right?

gimme your thoughts.. people who can flair obviously

what does he mean by drop your shoulder?

EDIT: 800th POST YIPPEEEEEEE I <3 SR!!!!!!!!!

this is what i have the most problem with when i flair.... the shoulder dropping part

when you do it you really have to turn your head as far as you can when you flip which in turn, moves your shoulder down....or you could probably just push your shoulder down pretty hard as you flip

i know coz alot of the time when i am trying them i dont really turn the 180 and im pretty much doing a flip to fakie in the pipe which is gay coz im still turned a tiny bit and die

Super queer.
Yea that shoulder dropping thing sounds pretty good. But when Twan was learning them, he focus to much on the flip and not the spin so hed only get like 90 degrees but once your getting there just focus a tiny bit more ont he spin and just tell your self your gonna stick it. So if big ass giant Twan can do them Im sure you can Bone dawg!<333

if you land them im going to kill you just a warning but anyway focus on rotating the flip more then anything and turn your head a little bit dont think of spinning go straight at the quarter too

haha thats wut happened when i tryed oppo flairs for the first time
umm dont drop your shoulder u will spin off axis
but no huck everything like a normal backflip except look to the side but everything else should b the same and make sure u get a pretty steep quarter
and and i look to the side at the beginning not the middle
(tanner)
o and for ur info i do tuck my flairs now lol <3

yeah tanners flairs look better now =)

i havent landed one besides a bank or whatnot, but when i throw them i first make sure i can do a flip to feeble on the quarter, so i can stell its a decent sized ramp.

go fast enough to air about 2 feet out of the quarter.

jump a little harder than you did for the flip to feeble, look to the side, and turn your shoulder.

when you are about to land pitch your nose down and suck up your feet for the landing if needed.
