Flat spots on wheels

Is there anyway to get rid of them or do u just have to live wit them? I just bought some yaks and they had flat spots in them so can anyone help me out
 
ive gotten flat spots outta yaks using a belt sander, my friend put a huge ass flat spot in my wheel so i just put it on the sander...if you have one

Just use one at scool or something, or use a Dremel. My Dremel has a million add ons but it was only like $100 or something like that.
 
If we're on the flatspot topic I dont get how the fuck do people make flatspots in their wheels, pressing the brake gradually instead of slamming it gives more braking performance, even if, for example, you land a big set jump and you find yourself riding riding right onto a car going down a street. I know some people give their scooter to silly buddies that just go fast then all of suden go "Wheeeee" and start skidding, though.

This means that the part of your back wheel's semi-toroidal surface is actually flat, as a result of friction caused by skidding with the wheel stopped by the brake
 
meh, toroid is an object based on a torus (a doughnut shaped object), so it's surface can be compared to a wheel's surface. But since the wheels intersection is more like elliptic, I had to put 'semi toroidal', lol.
