flatspot

I'm fucking pissed. At the park a little kid wanted a go on my scooter so whatever i gave him a go, and he goes straight to the quarter, goes down WITH THE BRAKE ON and slides out. He goes 'WOAAAH that was such a sick powerslide!!!' but the fucktards put a flatspot in my wheel. Anyone have a technique do get them out? I hope this kid hasn't wrecked my 70 dollar wheel for good.

How big is the flatspot? if it's not too big you can always do a lot of manual tricks and bomb hills with the brake on slightly. That's how I used to get mine out. It will eventually get worn away if it isn't like drifting big.

I power through them when I get them since I know they'll be gone after a while. And to be honest I could care less. Just keep riding and it will be gone.

Alright guys, its pretty big but ill still try that, ill tell you if it doesn't work.

Post a picture if you want and I can be the judge of that. Another REALLY good way but kinda kills the life of your wheel a bit is to learn brakeless powerslides to get rid of them. When I used to just ride hot glued stock wheels I would do powerslides when I got a bit of one. and a good trick to learn :D
