Flips?

Other than trampolines, I have never attemped a flip but im thinking of trying some to foam and resi this thursday. Im scared of hitting my head or underrotating with backflips. What's easier, frontflips or backflips? Any tips?

Good luck with it man, but you've really gotta wanna do it, you don't learn flips in the middle of a 'chill' sesh, they take a bit of determination which involves getting rid of the fear of being upside down.

I learned them into foam, then did it out of a mellow ass quarter. then tried out of a bigger quarter & hit my head on the copping ):

you were obviousley leaning back too early then. i find its best to pop back just before you hit the coping

Thanks guys, i appreciate it. When i attempt it im going to huck backwards as soon as my back wheel pops off coping. Is this ok?

yeah if you try to back flip after you leave the ramp your falling on your dome bro.

and frontflips are alot harder than backflips.
