folding mech squecking

hey i bolted my folding mech but its creaking. I got da right bolt sizes and i did everything da way i waz supposed 2 but its squeking and making these noises. Has this hapened to any1 else and if so help?? by the way im pretty sure itsda third bolt at da back cuz it doesntmake da squeking without it.

It could probably be something else too. If all the bolts are the right size , it means that there should not be any movement. IF theres no movement , how can there be squeaks? Could it be the wheel? My wheels squeak some times because they like to squeak.

did you take every bolt off? because if you didnt, theres still a few pieces of metal flippin around inside. and tighten your bars, headset, etc... to make sure its not that

Dude, I have the same fuckin problem. It's so annoying! But I know that my foldy is completely solid in every way and I tightened the bolts as far as they can possibly go (no joke), it just makes these stupid fucking creaking noises when I pull back hard on the bars or lean forward in a nose manual or something, and I know it's coming from the foldy. Wtf is going on?

ok, Alot of the time is is the strip of Metal right at the from of the mech that joins both sides..

and with the little screw in the middle...unbolt that and take it off!

thanks, I'll try that. I have an old a and I noticed that was there so I decided to tighten it because I thought it would make the foldy move less, but apparently not..
