folding mech

i just rebolted my folding mech and it makes this annoying squeaking sound i out the bolts in ant tightened the
shit out of it but it still squeaks, any solution?

o ok, should i just ride it then tighten it after, cuz i've bolted about 10 folding mechs and this has never happened to me

the foldy will have a bedding in period
where the foldy and the head tube gain friction
just wait a while
than re tighten

Trust me dude...ive locked numerous foldys over the many years of my riding. And when i get a squeeky one..i get pissed..But yea sometimes it goes away or whatever. Sometimes it doesnt.

no, but you should, when its off it its less stress on the foldy and less likely to snap.

My scooter did that the first time i bolted it then i rode for like 10 minutes and it stopped

make sure you have 3 bolts not 2 mine creaked and i tightened the bolts and it was fine

i have bolted over 100 foldies. yea some squek,. but some dnt.. it is what it is..
