folding mech

is the JD bug ms-130b folding mech the same as the razor pro folding mech? if it is is it easy to get off the jd bug scooter and put onto a new A razor and is it worth it? will it hold up longer?

thanks in advance guys.

EDIT: Im thinking of buying one for spare parts too, would the forks and everything else fit on the razor a?

Yes they're the same, I've not taken one off, but if you have a Dremel or some good tools I wouldn't say it'd be too hard. And I have an new A with a B foldy and it's been holding up well, only problem is the stupid squeaky brake.

haha really? I used to have a squeeky brake but i had a squeeky wheel to, so i just put a load of crc on the wheel like on the rubber of the wheel and span it round, must have flicked up into the brake and it stopped queeking. try spraying crc in the joins of the brake.

I fixed the squeaking, because the brake was just rubbing on the deck so I put some electric tape in between them, good as new :)
