foldy problems

yeah i been weldin my foldys forever until i finaly bolted myne on the pro i got now. but it still doesnt stay perfectly tight and not move. it always slides back and the bars lean back to much for me. it doesnt do it easily but it still does. anyway that i can get the bars to stay all the way forward and not move?

get a professional (not saying your not any good) to weld the mech. i have that on my scooter, welded mech its perfect, had it for about 4 months now, only the slightest crack is coming up.
 
get oversized bolts and then thread them into the neck tube by hitting the ends with a hammer, thats what i did. They are basically permanent. Also use washers on each end...

Basically you could get it more forward by increasing the size of the bolt wedged in between the rails and the neck part. Doing this, means you also have to decrease the size of the bolt where the lever was. The bottom bolt will still be 5/16. I wold get 3" long too. 2 1/2" is kind of short.
