do what jackson said. I learned them that way in my basement, except I didn't learn them by turning the wheel around because I had an old a fork at the time and they have that little loop for the strap on the front and I was too lazy to cut it off. The trick is really to just jam your foot in between the wheel and the headtube, it helps to push your bars forward quite a bit, and don't lean forward too too much either.

I got a footjam (to smith) on a 2 foot quarter and all the bikers was like WTF!? (so was I)
Anywho ..
I start turning a lil that jam so hard right up there!

How I do it is: Right before you jam your foot in, turn the bars 90 degrees and put your foot right in between the wheel and fork. Then once it is in, start turning the back end of the scooter so the fork and deck line up again. You probably can't turn it the whole way since your foot is in the way, however this will lock your foot in place and hold it snug against the wheel.

Pretty much the perfect description on how to do them, once you jam it in turn the bars back and your deck will swing back and you will come like straight and it adds that bmx steeze too
