i broke my fork which is no big deal exept that it was a clean brake inside the t tube idk how to get it out now can any one help plz



i keep braking forks i need help haha any one got any advice on how to prolong a stock fork from braking i even reinforced them

I use to take the t-tube out and then take something fatter than the reinforcement and bang it down into the reinforcement so it pops out the other end, kindve hard to explain. Try to reinforce your fork with some tubing from a hardware store.

thanks how would i loosen the t tube tho? i already took it apart took off the clamps and tried to take it out but nothing seemed to work

make like a hook out of a metal cloths anger and make is small enough that you can stick it up in your bars, catch the edge of the broken peicce and slowly pull it down

for your fork, get something that's like 7/8 OD and 1.25 wall maybe? Something about that fat will work. Or just get an SR threadless.

to get the part clamped in your bars, try taking a mini screwdriver, put it through the holes on the bottom of your steer tube, and hammer. this might bend it a little, making it easier to work with. otherwise you're fucked, go buy a new a and take those bars (basically the only good non-deck part).

New A brakes = <333333333333333.

just bend open the bottom of the bars more, itll be fine and the fork will just come out. then when you clamp it back on they bend back to normal.

that's a really good idea. Seriously i read this and i'm like "duh it'll go back to narmal cause of the clamp!"

ok

well ive done the same thing...like the fork THREADED areas still in the bars??

all you do is get some pliers or something like that...dosnt matter size as long as they fit in

then you OPEN as much as possible, and keep on twisting. Once you can see some of the broken fork out of the handlebars clamp onto it and just screw it out....

at least thats what i did...4 minutes max
