i never quite understood em.
when you fly off the ramp, do you use your back foot and push the scooter backwards and use the hand you're still holding the scooter bar with to throw it around?

cause coedie donavan looks lik ehe just takes his feet off first then throws it over.

i don't mean forwards briflips, i mean forwards scooty flips.

?noodle flips?

for my noodle flips, i use my feet a bit to kick it out from under me and then follow through with my hand and throw it over me. and yea than i find my catch and BAM!

seriously just do what feels right. i like cant even explain mine...lol because mine are like way different from everybody elses. nobody's are the same, just experiment diffreent ways that make you spin in smoother and faster so you can catch them or just land them consistently. they're super dooper fun once you can do them over things so just keep practicing :D

It's wierd for me, I'm trying to learn them on my left side with my left hand (infront of me) because I'm afraid of hitting my head if I do them on the other side. If I spin it behind me though, I can spin the flip faster, but I always seem to mess up the rotation when I try to kick it. Does anybody have tips for spinning scooterflips with your bad hand besides practice? I was thinking to maybe spin 90% of the flip with two hands and then let go at the last second and then catch it. Is this a good idea or not?

spinning with both hands works fine, i learned them like that, its just hard to get them really clean because you dont get your other hand on as good. hmm, i just realized what your post was really asking. what you should do is not learn it with your bad hand, get it with your good hand. try not to kick it behind you. and if you do try to kick your feet back, it still throws the scooter forward but not off axis or anything as much. get your other hand on as fast as you can and you can control it when it comes around better. if you wanted to learn with your bad hand then yea, id just stand there for hours on end throwing it over and over to get teh feel for it.
