just put gas down till traction is broken
turn one way and then countersteer the other way
then on its a balance of steering, countersteering, and gas

ya, and all the tutorials i watch say to use manual, but i focus so much on the game i forget to shift

On another note... I only have about 21% of the game completed cause I barely ever touch the xbox. Like i've spent 5 hours in total playing before yesterday, but yesterday I decided to go out and play and ended up playing for about 6 hours and I went from like 90th spot to 20th simply by drifting around. Not a single race was done in that time frame. I also made it my mission to get all the signs collected and start and finish all the fast travel locations for 100% discount travel on them all + I also got 316/316 roads discovered. Oh and I bought the ultimate aero for the shits and giggles and still have about 500k cash left.

Even though I barely ever play I'm going to try to buy xbl tomorrow so add me guise : ScootCT

@Cory ricklick, You don't have to have manual on but it sure helps, TONS! Simply make sure to have Traction control turned off.

I'm always on manual, I just prefer to feel more in control and my personal favorite car to drift in is my supra, Has much more substance/weight to it then my 86 which I feel makes it more manageable to make transitions with plus it doesn't look as sloppy

idk how i drift in them, i just do, it makes my bro mad, i have a GTR blakc edition i use sometimes, ima get a car from one of TC9700Gamings drift setup vids, im in his car club
