The taper is crazy on those bars, same with the crossbar, and the gussets, and the integrated clamps. So, those bars are crazy. The thing I could see being a problem with the integrated clamps is if you wanted to cut the bars down you'd have to lose them.

if one of the bolts seized, would it make the whole bar useless?

Drill em' out and use the normal bolt & nut system. If anything they should machine one side to a 10mm Nut so if you were to seize then you can just replace the nut. Like in some skateboard trucks.

^yeah like odsy chock full o nuts stem. Holds the nuts but the threads are always replaceable thatd be dope

Oh really.... are they? they arent the VodkID bars?

i searched around for french id products on the trotirider forum a while back and i found a thread with those calling them "vodka bars" and there was also the "steel tree bars." maybe a name change or something, idk. i remember it was maxime legrand who posted about it, though.

Hey cool you got them finally. Vodk ID and Steel Trees will come out if it doesn't break, which means we won't sell you if Eric breaks the prototype (as well as other team members).


Integrated clamp system is a prototype at the moment too!
