But if elbow pads were required, then it was still your fault that your got kicked out, so there's no reason to be mad at the cop - he only did his job and how could he know that you had a birthday. It's still not an excuse to ride without elbow peds if they were required.

CYF , are you a bit too mean for what you said? In Shanghai , our skate park allows BMX which I think most parks in the United States don't allow , pads are optional , free and has a skate shop , swimming pool , moto cross bike jump ( whatever you call it ) , some place to eat. I think I am lucky I got this but I live far from it and I want to go to an indoor park.

I just found out its illegal to ride anywhere in my city without a helmet?
My girlfriend got into a fight and I was scootering by her as we walked away from the cops and they said to stop riding it without a helmet because I have to be 16 or its against the law.
