what i think he is trying to say is that a company shouldn't just make parts, release them, and when the parts break tell everyone who rides park that their parts aren't made for that reason.

no company should make parts for only one type of rider.

And why not?

im starting to get tired of this, i think billie rainbow has got it, this deck is for the clean, street rider who understands the efficiency and strength of a set up the flexes, which are riders like billie. and i know i will not be able to ride this deck and have a good experience because i cannot land as cleanly as other pro riders. this deck is for experienced riders, so basically less people should have this deck then do

and dont kid yourself if you think you are a clean rider, look at where you land on your deck and where you should, and i bet half of you will realized you arent as clean as you thought, catching your tricks doesnt make them clean.

so knowing this may we stop bitching? this seems too find itself into plenty of threads it shouldnt.

No because every scooter part ever made should last forever, and if it doesn't I should get a full refund and new parts. If that doesn't happen I'll bitch everywhere about how not to buy parts from that company.

but the problem is if they are only for clean riders then you could not really learn new tricks without damaging the deck, as when learning new tricks you will tend to be sketchy at first

I guess you could compare these decks to racing bikes- built for performance and weight, not strength. If you ride sketch on a racing bike it will brake.

so definitely don't get an addict deck? i was thinking about buying one because i don't like my integrated phoenix cause i wanted something with a flat bottom, wider deck, and a little bit lighter, but from this thread it doesn't look like addict decks are doing to well.

Addict decks are for clean riders who understand how to land clean most of the time. If you're still learning easy-ish tricks dont get it. Once you understand that the deck is made for people who land there tricks almost everytime then maybe get one.

This deck will not last a sketchy rider longer then like 3 months. But, Kingsley Okocha made one last like a year. It's simply based off of how cleanly you ride.

it's not bullshit. It is EXACTLY like what somebody said earlier. Compare it to a BMX racing bike. They're made for one purpose, to be light and fast. If you took a racing bike and took it to your local skatepark and cased on an air you WILL taco or bend the wheel badly.

I'm getting off track, But Addict had a specific group of riders in mind for their parts, the people that are breaking it clearly weren't the type of rider that they designed the deck for.
