yeah it rained one day so i decided to try pete's front brake idea #2 i havent gotten around to putting it together yet and riding it but i probably will sometime today but till then heres some pics of what it looks like with the fork and front wheel mounted

and if your wondering what the bolt on the top is for where you step it is so when you tighten it all the way down it disables the fronts brake (in case you dont wanna kill yourself or you like nose mannys). and yes there is enough clearance to do barspins and tailwhips.

just let me know what you think and if there might need to be changes.

well if so it shouldn't matter if u lock the folding mech right it should work pretty good.

but how fast would that stop and could u do nose taps on walls with that.

uhh.. put some rubber or something on the end that touches the wheel, that round head could cause some pain for you.

isn't that brake gonna be in the middle of the folding mechanism's rails?
No, it would make it impossible to bolt it.

Wow I didnt think that anyone would make such a brake, tell us if it works any good.

k my internet was down pretty much all day yesterday because of the storms but its back now so to answer some questions

looks pretty sick, it sucks that it woul only work if the wheel is relatively straight though
the wheel would have to be pretty straight but its not hard keeping it striaght when you ride because it is easier to balance when the wheel's straight

if you mean the bolts or back axles whichever you use to blot your mech then no if you look closer i made sure to drill the hole above the mech hole so they wouldnt interfere

it will be able to do nosepicks on wallrides and that sort of stuff as long as you are moving up ward when you going into it and it would make it a lot better to put the rubber on because it will stop better the only reason i havent yet is because i know i have an A2 fork (the kind with the rubber shock) somewhere and im gonna get it and cut it up and cement and superglue the shit out of it to get it on

the only other thing i need to change is the spring its a little too stiff and i wanna put some kind of plate over the part you step on because after a while that bolt starts to hurt your foot

so far ive only tried bars and whips in and out of it and the easiest were barspins in and out though it was sorta hard in cuz you have to get the wheel straight before you hit the brake and tailwhips out were the most fun but tailwhips in were really hard to do and i havent landed one and stuff like on a ledge would be 180 noseblunt to nosepick and whip out. that was all i tried so far.

now i have to go to home depot to get a new spring because this one got really loose and jiggles.

nice job, i think i will steal your idea, improve it, cut corners on it, market it and make millions without you ever getting your cut!
no, not really, but nice job. i think i'll try it on my scoot. I'm going to rig a scooter with bike style hand brakes front and back at some point.
