good im glad yous r all making it better cuz it really pissing me off (the front brake that is) i hate it and want it to be better so just post pics and shit and one thing is that try to drill the hole on a downward angle(if u use that method) instead of the way i did cause its really hard to step on the way i made it straight

no it wasnt your idea that was bad it was the way i made it the spring i used is messed up and the part that touches the wheel starts to hit the fork and cant turn i just need to get a new spring

if you do it when your wheel isnt straight doesn't it just puch the wheel sideways and lock up???

i made one. it work pretty good, because i made the thing that stops the wheel bigger and same with the part you hit with your foot. i also put griptape on both ends.

maybe you could rig it so that you can put a skateboard dodo on the bolt so it doesnt tear up the wheel.

yea like if u were to put griptape under your brake to stop faster it would grind down the rubber.

and about the griptape wearing down the wheel, i only used it once on the flat ground so idk if i will in the long run.

it shouldnt wear it down as long as it stops the wheel right when you hit the brake otherwise it will if you just let the grip grind on it but if you dont you should be fine

it did but then i messed up the spring and havent gotten a new one yet
