Front flips?

I have searched on this but has anyone got good tips and what not to do.
I was thinking of trying them tomorrow. Might have a matress.

DO:
-start the flip like 1/2-3/4 up the takeoff, earlier for smaller things, later for bigger things, typically the later you flip, the higher and slower you flip
-pretty much just throw yourself over your bars
-focus on tucking, at first it felt like i was tucked a lot but watching videos i saw i was barely tucking at all, so really work on tucking up real good.
-look for the wall or ramps or anything thats in FRONT of you, by the time you see the ground youll be landing so your best way of "Spotting" the landing is to look for stuff in front
-COMMIT, the worst bails are the ones that jesse and tyler hale did a few times where they started the flip then looked up and like dove straight to flat.
-try them over boxes, even if its a real big box, the time in the air will help a lot and it hurts a lot less falling into a landing ramp than onto flat
-go about as fast as you would to clear the box straight, any faster and youll probably overshoot the landing, any slower and youll still probably clear it, but you wont make the flip

DONT:
-start flipping really early, like as you hit the jump. you will get no height, and probably wont be able to make the flip.
-huck really hard over big stuff, youre a lot better off landing on your ass and sliding (it really doesnt hurt that much to land on your ass) than you are to overrotate and hit your face/chest

Thanks bk great tips i think i know what i should do
i don't have a bow :( i only have some quarters and they're all about 4 foot :(

PS. is it easy to over-rotate? and should i practise more on a tramp? [no tramp scoot just with feet]

unless you have a way to get a ton of speed for those 4 foots, i wouldnt recommend trying them out of it. its pretty hard to overrotate when you first start trying them, but like, i learned them on a small flybox, so the first time i tryed them on a big flybox i would land with my weight pretty far forward but i wouldnt worry too much about overrotating. also, i dont think it will help much to do fronts on trampolines on your feet, using your arms really helps more than you think so its not really that good of a way to practice haha

im guessing he only went like 1 or 2 feet high though, i just think flipping early looks really ugly most of the time, and when me or tyler hale does it we underrotate

uhh, get good griptape and just press your feet into the deck? you probably arent commiting and taking your feet off to land on them
