But I also have another question.
How do I like put studs in my deck like a bike pedal?

Just get some pins at a bike shop, the ones that are just like set screws with the 2mm allen head. Then drill out holes in your deck just smaller than the pins and they'll thread themselves. If you have the reinforcements you can just screw 'em in until the hit the reinforcements.
