You never want to use Auto mode anyway and don't worry aboout the image stabalization you dont need really need it; just some fancy sounding feature .

if your going to be taking action photos make sure the camera has "TV" shutter priority wich it should have.

i was going to get it, but i talked to a people and they said if you are going to spend that much money on a point and shoot, you might as well get an slr.

exactly. spend an extra 150 and get a d40.

I really don't want a SLR. In my opinion SLR's is a pain to take everywhere with the lens, and sheiittt.
I just want a simple EVF/Bridge camera so i can take with ease.

you won't be able to shoot
fisheye or wide angle...oh yeah and that flash you were going to get is pretty good...i would just save up for 2 so you have a pair

I got myself banned.
Yeah you can shoot fish with it, they usually look kinda poopy, there really isn't any good screw fisheyes for point and shoots...

that camera is just about the same size as a d40. and youre going to have to carry lenses/flashes around no matter what, so im not sure what your point is.

SLR means yyou can change lens.
And if you get that camera the only fish you can get is a screw on one which is shit, and it cant focus right. Yeah and deff save for two. You only need one flash if you plan on shoot band photos like me. BUt if you want one it still works good at night.

yeah exactly. But Dylan might want something cheap to start with these kinds of cameras...

SLR means Single Lens Reflex... and i would't tell him to get two flashes from the beginning. Learning how to use one is enough of a headache at first.

yeh hahaha, fisheyes there is shitty, :(.

and thats true to shelby, I just want to start from a well decent camera to even more experienced expensive camera.
